About ACI
Founded in 1995, Asia Connections, Inc. (ACI) is a consulting firm that
specializes in assisting companies to promote, distribute or manufacture
their products and services in Asia. ACI provides a wide range of services
that include introductions, information gathering, program management
and active assistance during all phases of business operations in Asia.
ACI is a US State Department Directorate of Defense Trade Control registered
entity (Registration Number 0604-0341). ACI is a member of TRACE (Transparent
Agencies and Contracting Entities).
ACI's clients include small businesses as well as some of the most prominent
multi-national corporations. Even larger firms that maintain regional offices
in Asia, recognize that ACI offers value-added services that complement their
efforts in the region. ACI's support enhances the effectiveness of the corporate

Edward J. Corcoran
Edward J. Corcoran served
31 years with the US Government in a career that focused on Asian
affairs. His experience includes 24 years in the Asia-Pacific region
in positions that included service as a foreign advisor, foreign
military sales officer, military attaché and Inspector General
for the Pacific region. He also served in senior positions involving
intelligence gathering and political-military affairs. A fluent
Thai linguist, Mr. Corcoran has spent over 19 years in Southeast
Asia, culminating with an assignment as the Defense and Army Attaché
in the US Embassy, Bangkok. Mr. Corcoran is a graduate of the Defense
Language Institute, the Claremont Graduate School (with a Masters
Degree in Asian Studies), the US Army War College and the Stanford
University Advanced Management Program.

Richard (Rick) Cassidy
Richard (Rick) Cassidy served 26 years with the US Government in a variety
of important positions that included over a decade of service in the Asia-Pacific
region. An Asian specialist since 1978, he served in a progression of senior
positions in the Department of Defense and US Embassies in Tokyo and Bangkok,
focusing on defense, technology transfer, foreign military sales and international
trade policies. Mr. Cassidy culminated his government servce in the Joint
US Military Advisory Group-Thailand as the Director of Security Assitance
Programs with the Royal Thai Army and Armed Forces. He holds an MA in National
Security Affairs from the Naval Post Graduate School and is a graduate
of both the US State Department's Foreign Service Institute and the Defense
Language Institute.

David H. Wayne
David H. Wayne served over 30 years with the US Government in
a variety of high-level logistics and program management positions.
He has over 22 years experience in the Asia-Pacific region and has
extensive experience in defense sales and security assistance operations
in South East Asia. He served as a logistics and foreign military
sales staff officer in Thailand. Mr. Wayne was previously the Director
for Asia-Pacific programs for the US Army Security Assistance Command
where he was responsible for the management of the US Army's foreign
military sales program in Asia. Mr. Wayne is also the President
of Global Logistics Management, LLC, a logistics and construction
management firm. Mr. Wayne holds an MBA from Marymount University
and is a graduate of the US Army War College. In 2005 he was inducted
into the US Army Quartermaster Hall of Fame.

George Gregory Jacunski
George Gregory Jacunski has spent 31 years in government service to include 12 years in the Asia Pacific region culminating in an assignment as General Counsel for federal agency interests throughout Asia and the Pacific. Mr. Jacunski also has experience in a wide variety of legal specialties to include criminal, procurement, environmental and international law. In addition, Mr. Jacunski has served as legislative counsel to both the Secretary of the Army and the Secretary of Defense and was acting Deputy Secretary of Defense for Legislative Affairs. Mr. Jacunski is currently living in St. Augustine, Florida and is engaged in the private practice of law and a variety of business interests. |
